Feast Day of St Catherine on Saturday, 24 November

The Institute will be celebrating the Feast Day of St Catherine – our Patron Saint – on Saturday, 24 November. We will begin the day with the Divine Liturgy, which will be celebrated in the college chapel of Wesley House from 10:00 am. The service will be followed by a light and convivial lunch, around 12:30 noon in the Dining Hall of Wesley House. The expressed aim of the day is for people to have a chance to meet each other, talk, make connections, and find out more about the opportunities and developments at IOCS. To help with that, after lunch, Dr Elizabeth Theokritoff, our UK Chair of Friends of IOCS, and Father Dragos Herescu, the Principal of the Institute, will offer two brief presentations about the highlights of the past year.

During the Liturgy, as is traditional, we will by remembering all those, living and departed, who have been our benefactors, praying for each by name. The Roll of Benefactors can be found on our website here.

All are welcome to attend. To enable caterers to prepare accordingly, please let us know if you are attending.
