It is with great joy that we announce the UK Book Launch of Nicolae Steinhardt’s ‘Journal of Joy’ (‘Jurnalul fericirii’) – the first official English translation of this Romanian classic, published by St. Vladimir’s Seminary Press (Yonkers, NY). To celebrate this long-awaited publication the Institute for Orthodox Christian Studies in Cambridge, in partnership with The Embassy of Romania to the United Kingdom and The Romanian Cultural Institute is hosting a book launch and public round-table in London, 1 Belgrave Square, London SW1X 8PH.
The event will take place on Friday, 23 May, at 6:00 pm, featuring Rt Revd Rowan Williams (former Archbishop of Canterbury) and Revd Prof. Bogdan Bucur, who will represent the publisher, St. Vladimir’s Theological Seminary, NY, where he serves as Associate Professor of Patristics.
