The Institute for Orthodox Christian Studies is excited to announce a new series of Conversation Days for this year, featuring many of our current valued collaborators, tutors and researchers. The dates and topics for the 2021 Conversation Days are:
25 February 2021: ‘Interfaith dialogue and conflict: from Alexandria in the Fourth Century to the Present’, featuring Dr Anna Lefteratou and Dr Alon Segev (both Research Associates of IOCS).
25 March 2021: ‘The Church in the context of Theotic Relationships’, featuring Revd Dr Alexander Tefft (Chaplain and Distance Learning Tutor, IOCS) and Revd Dr Patrick Ramsey (Distance Learning Tutor, IOCS).
15 April: ‘On Spiritual Guidance’, featuring Revd Dr Liviu Barbu (Distance Learning Tutor, IOCS) and Revd Dr Demetrios Bathrellos (Visiting Professor, IOCS). Please note change of date!
26 May: An event hosted jointly with the The Woolf Institute (Cambridge) on the theme of ‘Religious diversity and interfaith dialogue‘ – featuring Dr Christine Mangala Frost (Research Associate, IOCS) and Dr Ed Kessler MBE (Founder Director, Woolf Institute).
The programme of our Conversation Days is:
18.30 pm – 19.10 BST: First session (approx. 25 mins) followed by response and Q&A (15 mins)
19.10 – 19.20: Break
19.20 pm – 20.00 BST: Second session (25 mins) followed by response and Q&A (15 mins)
