Conversation Day 16 June 2018 – ‘Persecution and Religious Freedom’

Our next Conversation Day (the last this year) on 16 June 2018 will feature Archbishop Angaelos of London (Coptic Orthodox Church, UK) and Revd Prof Andrew Louth (Durham University), who will address in conversation the theme of ‘Persecution and Religious Freedom‘.

The event will take place at Wesley House, The Dining Hall (top floor, Jesus Lane, Cambridge CB5 8BJ – through the red gate). As before, each speaker with deliver a talk followed by a questions-and-answers session. Also, there will be time for the two speakers to respond to one another and take questions from the audience.

The programme for the day follows this structure:

10:30-11:00: Arrival & coffee/tea
11:00-12:15: Archbishop Angaelos’ presentation (followed by brief response / questions and answers)
12:15-13:00: Light lunch (sandwiches and refreshments)
13:00-14:15: Revd Prof Andrew Louth’s presentation (followed by brief response / questions and answers)
