It is with a great sense of loss to the Institute’s staff and to the Orthodox community here in Cambridge that we announce that our very dear friend, Mrs Khouria Jeanne Harper, went to be with the Lord at 2pm on Holy Friday. Jeanne was one of the most devoted people to the mission and calling of our Institute, the activity of which she has followed closely ever since its foundation and for which she has prayed tirelessly since. She was for us a most caring friend, a spiritual guide whose radiant joy and kindness and whose life of profound prayer has deeply inspired our faith. We know Jeanne is still journeying with us in prayer, in the Light and Joy of Christ’s Resurrection.
The funeral will take place on Saturday 29 April, at 12.30 pm at St Giles’ Church, Cambridge (CB3 0AQ – corner of Castle Street and Chesterton Road).
